SEO-Making it easy for your online visitors
Updated: May 15, 2019
Every good SEO strategy is geared at getting you more customers to engage and buy your product or services.
Since you don't have the use of a microphone to shout out to your online visitors, the three points below need to be included in your SEO strategy.
-Call to action
Every page on your website needs to have a Call to Action (CTA) button. I recommend at least one at the top of each page and one near to the bottom of the page.
Your copy on the page needs to intrigue your visitors and arouse their curiosity so that they will be want to click your CTA button and find out more.
This CTA button needs to be easy to spot and stand out from the rest of the page. Try out different colours, shapes and sizes. The text doesn’t always need to say “Call to Action”. Other words may fit in with your brand such as get started, find out more, etc...

-Phone number
Your website is a direct connection for your customer to you. If a customer can get in contact with you by phone you have the best chance to help and convert them, offline. This also offers a personal touch that your website may lack.
Ensure your contact phone number is clearly visible. It makes it easy for your customers it it's at the top of each page. If someone takes the time to call you, it means they are pretty interested in what you have to offer.
Mobile numbers are usually best , but if you do go with a landline, ensure it is your official business number that is consistent with all your Google, Bing, Yelp and other directory listings. Inconsistency with contact numbers can hurt your Google rankings.
-Testimonials
Getting testimonials from happy customers is a great way to provide your business with valuable sales pitches. People love to seek approval and recommendations from peers and these can have a huge impact on future customers purchasing decisions.
Videos are the most powerful form of recording a testimonial as they have been proven to generate trust. Video can also lead directly to sales.
Studies show that 74% of users who watched a video that explained about a product went and made a purchase. So you better start crafting your exciting product videos now!
Many businesses’ tend to have a specific page for their testimonials, but if you can put them onto your landing page, studies have shown this is far more effective and will increase conversions.
Just ensure that your testimonials are specific and give details about your product or service. Testimonials that are too generic, such as "they have great products", can backfire as they come across as unauthentic as they could be about anything!
You could even go one step further with your testimonials and create a story/blog about your satisfied client and their before and after journey.
